Policy & Legislation Committee

This committee’s members assist with the research and identification of model legislation, policies, protocols, and programs that can be recommended for replication in Marin County. This committee also recommends and advocates for the passage of current state and federal legislation that aligns with the Coalition’s mission and objectives.

Our Current Priority

  • Review Grand Jury Report

  • Review and update human trafficking protocol for training

  • Research and incorporate labor trafficking legislation into the objectives of the Policy and Legislation committee

  • Be aware of international human trafficking work through the United Nations.
