Law Enforcement Committee

This committee’s members collaborate with law enforcement organizations to raise and spread awareness on human trafficking. A primary objective is to train Marin County law enforcement on sexual and labor trafficking and on best practices and to provide a victim-centered approach to those trafficked. The committee also partners with organizations to refer those trafficked to community resources. This includes working with the Department of Children and Family Services on cases of Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC). The committee also facilitates law enforcement operations to identify potential victims of human trafficking and/or to identify the traffickers and buyers.
