National Human Trafficking Awareness Day Event

  • Elks Lodge, Grand Ballroom 1312 Mission Avenue San Rafael, CA, 94901 United States (map)

San Rafael Elks Lodge #1108, Shared Hope International, ManKind and Feet 2 Da Street Present a FREE Community Awareness Event:

It’s the Classic question of Supply and Demand: When there is no Demand, there is no need for Supply. Demand is what drives the business of human sex trafficking,
a burgeoning, insatiable market for the bodies of young girls and boys exploited by traffickers (supply) and purchasers (demand) working in tandem.

Frank Smith and Stephen Wooldridge have seen the dark side of human behavior.
They now work to educate young boys and men on understanding life’s circumstances that might lead men astray, and on how to recognize different choices that are available to them.
Come hear how they both bring their light into the lives of others.

Speakers include:
Pastor Frank Smith, Shared Hope Defender, The Dad’s Club, Feet 2 Da Street
Stephen Wooldridge, Survivor Advocate, ManKind Program, Center For Domestic Peace
Laurel Botsford, Ambassador of Hope, Shared Hope International; CEASE Program-Cities Empowered Against Sexual Exploitation

Welcome to all Elks, Friends and the Community. Teens aged 14-17 years are welcome with parent or guardian.
